Kalayo Barbecue


We were approached by Seattle-based barbecue startup Kalayo to design the visual identity for their new brand. The goal of the project was to work on a variety brand kit with various logo and artwork options for various situations.

Not one logo that is the same for every application, but a selection of artworks that together tell the story of Kalayo. The final brand kit included various word mark options, icons, patterns and an original Kalayo mascot, all executed in in a shared color palette.
